If you have a Gemini image or a Veo video with that small sparkle sitting in the corner, this gemini video watermark remover is built for exactly that job. Drop your file in, the tool finds the visible Gemini mark by itself, and removes it for you. There is no brush, no box to draw and nothing to upload. Use it to remove gemini watermark from video clips you have already saved, or to clean a single image in seconds. It also works as a nano banana watermark remover, because Nano Banana images carry the same Gemini sparkle.
One honest note about scope: this tool removes visible marks only. It does not remove SynthID, the invisible signal embedded in Gemini media, and it is not a general watermark tool. For any other kind of mark, use our general Watermark Remover, where you brush over the mark yourself.
Key features
- Automatic detection: the tool looks for the Gemini sparkle overlay on images, and the sparkle and Veo text marks on videos, so you do not have to mark anything by hand.
- Images and video in one tool: clean a JPG, PNG or WebP image, or a video clip up to 3 minutes long, on the same page.
- No brushing or box drawing: detection and removal are automatic, unlike a manual remover where you paint over the mark.
- Audio kept on video: your clip keeps its original sound, and exports as MP4 where your browser supports it, otherwise as WebM.
- Private by design: everything runs locally in your browser, so your files are never uploaded to a server.
- Free, with no sign-up: no account, no credits and nothing added to your download.
- Honest when there is nothing to remove: if no Gemini mark is found, the tool says so plainly instead of changing your file for no reason.
How to use
For an image:
- Drop your JPG, PNG or WebP image onto the tool, or choose it from your device.
- Wait a moment while the tool checks for the Gemini sparkle and removes it automatically.
- Check the result, then download your cleaned image as a PNG.
For a video:
- Drop your MP4, WebM or MOV clip onto the tool, or choose it from your device. Clips can be up to 3 minutes long and 500 MB.
- The tool samples frames from the clip and locks onto the mark that stays still while the picture moves.
- Click once to remove the mark from the whole clip.
- Download the result as MP4 where your browser supports it, for example in Chrome and Edge, or as WebM otherwise. Your audio is kept as it was.
How auto detection and reverse alpha blending work
Gemini adds its visible marks in a predictable way. The sparkle sits in a set place on images and videos, the Veo text mark sits in a set place on Veo videos, and both are blended over the picture at a set strength. Blending means the mark is not fully solid: it is mixed with the picture underneath, a process often called alpha blending, where alpha is simply how strong or see through the top layer is.
Because the shape of the mark and the strength of that blend are known, the tool can work backwards. It compares the marked area with what the blend would have done to the original colours, reverses the maths pixel by pixel, and so estimates what was underneath before the mark was added. It then rebuilds that small area from the recovered colours. On video it does the same job more carefully still: by sampling several frames, it can tell the mark apart from the scene, because the scene moves and the mark does not.
When you need to remove gemini watermark from video you already have
Since August 2026, Gemini has let some accounts turn the visible watermark off for new media. You will find it in the Gemini settings, under Media Watermark, if your account has it. If you do, switch it off and the new images and videos you make from then on will come without the visible mark.
That setting only helps with new files. It does not clean the clips and images already sitting in your downloads folder, the ones you have already shared, or files made before the setting existed or on an account that does not have it. Those are the files this tool is for: drop one in here and the visible mark is removed from the file you already have.
Honest limits worth knowing
Four limits are worth knowing before you start. First, this tool removes visible marks only: the sparkle overlay and the Veo text mark. It does not remove SynthID, the invisible signal in Gemini media, and no honest tool should claim otherwise. Second, video is limited to clips up to 3 minutes long and 500 MB, because all of the work happens on your own device. Third, the output format depends on your browser: MP4 where your browser can record MP4, as Chrome and Edge can, and WebM in browsers that cannot. Fourth, a very large mark, or one on a heavily compressed file, may leave a soft trace at first, because some of the original detail was lost when the file was compressed. Where that happens, the tool finishes by rebuilding the area from the picture around it, which gives a clean result on most files, but a heavily compressed clip will never be quite the same as the file before Gemini marked it.
If the tool finds no Gemini mark in your file, it tells you so and leaves the file unchanged. That usually means the mark is a different kind of watermark, or the file was made after the visible mark was switched off in Gemini. For other marks, our general Watermark Remover lets you brush over any mark on a photo or video yourself.
Private by design
Like every Savozi tool, this one runs entirely in your browser. Your images and videos are read and processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our server, so there is no server copy and no upload wait. It is part of our watermark tools collection: free, no account, and nothing to install.
